This 2-hour experience blends expert guidance, practical tools, and real-world insight to help you and your birth partner feel more grounded and prepared β€” no matter how your birth story unfolds.

πŸ‘Ά Stages of Labour & Birth
We’ll walk through the phases of early labour, active labour, delivery, and postpartum. You’ll learn how your body and hormones work together during each stage and what you can expect along the way.

🧠 Your Nervous System & Birth
With Dr. Jack Hull
Gain a deeper understanding of how your nervous system influences hormone balance, your baby’s development, and your body’s ability to adapt through pregnancy, labour, and postpartum recovery. Explore how nervous system co-regulation shapes your baby’s well-being β€” and discover practical ways to support and strengthen your own nervous system.

πŸ“ Informed Decision Making
Explore the BRAIN tool to help guide choices during labour. We'll also cover how to create a flexible birth preferences document and how partners can advocate and offer grounded support throughout the process.

🀲 Comfort Measures & Partner Support
This is the hands-on heart of the workshop. You’ll learn and practice effective comfort strategies including breathing, positioning, massage, acupressure, and counter-pressure. Partners will leave with real tools to support you during labour. We’ll also explore Catherine’s go-to items from her doula toolkit.

πŸ₯— Nutrition & Postpartum Recovery
Discover how to nourish your body in the final stretch of pregnancy and support early postpartum healing. Catherine will also share exclusive offers on virtual doula and nutrition packages available to attendees.

β˜• Coffee, Tea, Snacks & Open Chat
We’ll wrap up with a relaxed social time β€” complete with nourishing snacks, drinks, and space for open Q&A. You’ll also receive take-home handouts, including nutrition tips and a birth preferences checklist.
